Who runs this
Indian Simulator is a fictional browser game built and operated by an independent individual developer. This policy explains what data the game collects when you play it, how it's used, and how advertising partners may process data if ads are enabled on the site.
What we collect
If you sign in with Google (only required to unlock paid levels), we receive your email address, name, and Google account ID from Google's sign-in flow. We don't use a database — your session is kept in an encrypted cookie (JWT), and your purchase status (which plan you've unlocked, if any) is stored in a simple key-value store keyed to your Google account ID.
Game progress (which levels you've cleared, when you last played) is saved locally in your browser's storage. It never leaves your device and we never see it.
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page. We never see or store your card number — Stripe passes us only a confirmation that a purchase succeeded.
Site analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — things like which pages get visited and roughly how many people play. This involves a cookie and your IP address being sent to Google; we don't use it for ad targeting or combine it with your sign-in identity.
We also use anonymous, aggregate Google Analytics events to see how visitors move through the unlock flow (e.g., whether they viewed the paywall or completed a purchase) — these don't include your name, email, or payment details.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the game: Google for sign-in, analytics, and ads when enabled; Stripe for payment processing; and hosting providers that deliver the site.
Cookies
We set a sign-in session cookie so you don't have to log in again on every visit, and Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure traffic. If Google ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, limit fraud and abuse, measure ad performance, and personalize ads where permitted.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use Google services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Advertising and consent
If ads are shown, they may be provided by Google AdSense or related Google advertising products. Third parties may place and read cookies or use web beacons and IP addresses because ads are served on this site.
We may also use Adsterra to display advertising on content pages. Adsterra and its demand partners may process device information, IP addresses, cookies, and similar identifiers to deliver ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. You can read Adsterra's privacy policy at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.
Before enabling personalized advertising for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions that require consent, we will use a consent mechanism or limit ads to non-personalized delivery where required.
Data deletion
Want your account data deleted? Email us at support@indiansimulator.com and we'll remove your entitlement record. Revoking Indian Simulator's access from your Google account settings stops any future sign-ins.
Children's privacy
Indian Simulator is comedic arcade content and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. We also do not use Google advertising products to build personalized audiences from child-directed activity.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
