Start from the Play button
Indian Simulator starts on the homepage. Press Play now, choose a level, and the browser loads the 3D scene. You do not need an account for the first two levels, so the quickest way to learn the game is to enter Survive the Streets and play one short run.
The game is built around immediate feedback. You see your current objective, your HYGIENE meter, score, timer, and short on-screen prompts when a level needs a special action.
Desktop controls
On desktop, movement uses familiar browser game controls. WASD or the arrow keys move the character, mouse drag changes the camera direction, and Shift lets you sprint when the level allows it. Most levels also support a view switch so you can move between first-person and third-person play.
Some levels introduce an interaction key. When you see an on-screen prompt, press E to interact. The prompt appears only when the action matters, so you do not need to memorize every possible interaction before starting.
- WASD or arrow keys: move
- Mouse drag: look around
- Shift: sprint
- V: switch view in supported levels
- E: interact when prompted
Mobile controls
On mobile, Indian Simulator replaces keyboard input with touch controls. A virtual joystick handles movement, dragging on the right side of the screen controls the camera, and an action button appears when a level needs a tap-based interaction.
Mobile play is best in landscape orientation. The scenes are still rendered in real time, so closing other heavy tabs can help older phones keep a steadier frame rate.
Understand the HYGIENE meter
HYGIENE is the central resource across the game. It drains during a run and takes larger hits from level hazards. If the meter reaches zero, the run ends. If you complete the level objective first, the level is cleared and the result screen shows how you did.
The meter resets at the start of every level. That keeps each attempt self-contained and fair. A failed run does not permanently damage your progress, and a successful run does not require grinding a saved inventory.
Best first route
Start with Survive the Streets because it teaches movement and survival without requiring a purchase. After that, try Clear the Apartment to learn how objectives can change while the HYGIENE meter remains the same.
Once those two levels make sense, the paid levels are easier to judge. River Crossing, Festival Rush, and Night Train Ride each add their own pace and pressure, but they are built on the same basic loop you learn for free.
